Dr. Maria Sakellarides has been a practicing audiologist since 1977. She received a Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1976 at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and her Masters Degree in Audiology in 1977 from the University of West Virginia in Morgantown. In May 2000, she received her Doctor of Audiology Degree from the University of Florida in Gainsville. In June 2001, she established her own practice in Arlington, Virginia called Advanced Hearing Health Care, P.L.C.. She has worked in the Northern Virginia area since 1993. Dr. Maria has expanded her practice and she has a second location in Lorton, Virginia.

Dr. Maria Sakellarides, is extensively trained in all aspects of hearing loss, hearing aids and counseling that will assist a patient through various stages of their hearing impairment. She is able to dispel myths related to hearing loss, hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Her goal is to provide hearing aid satisfaction and better quality of life. Advanced Hearing Health Care offers the latest hearing aid technology in the latest styles. Current hearing aid users are always welcome to come in for an evaluation of their hearing aids.

Dr. Maria established her own practice in Arlington, Virginia July, 2001 called Advanced Hearing Health Care, P.L.C..

Professional audiologists, or Doctors of Audiology (Au.D.'s), are educated in the science and management of disorders of hearing and balance. The Au.D. graduates are prepared to utilize the newest advances in technology to help patients hear better.

According to Dr. Maria, our goals are to "promote the acceptance of hearing healthcare for the hearing impaired and their families through the use of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, effective counseling and aural rehabilitation strategies. As professionals, our job is not necessarily that of selling hearing aids. Our priority is to make sure our patients find solutions to their hearing problems. Dr. Courtney Little

Dr. Courtney Little
Audiologist

Dr. Little joined Advanced Hearing Healthcare in 2018. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders (2008) and her clinical doctorate in Audiology (2012) from the University at Buffalo. Dr. Little has worked both in a private practice and an ENT setting and has extensive experience with hearing evaluations, auditory rehabilitation and hearing aid fittings. Dr. Little has hearing loss herself and has been wearing hearing aids for over 13 years giving her a unique perspective on hearing loss and hearing aid usage. She has an immense passion for helping people treat their hearing loss and working to find the best hearing solution for each person. She loves working in a profession that helps people by improving their quality of life through better hearing and communication. In her free time, she loves to read, travel and spend time with her husband, son and two dogs!
